Your question got me to wondering about how much "stuff" I actually have on my shelves. I took a rough count and almost had a nervous break down trying to count that high. I need a lot more fingers and toes. I decided to break my stash count down to the various scales and types. Here is a count that is fairly accurate ---- it comes out a little different every time I make a count. This is the result of over 20 years of having fun with my obsession. My house is not a home, it's a hobby shop. A hideout. A therapy clinic. An escape room. A sanctuary, and all of the things listed in the responses posted so far.
21 1/16 Cast metal models.
27 1/16 factory built R/C models
24 1/16 conversions of factory models.
84 1/16 total scratch builds. About 1/2 are R/C.
17 1/16 scratch built trailers.
19 1/16 artillery pieces.
29 1/18 miscellaneous AFVs
6 1/16 motorcycle conversions.
7 models of other scales.
6 1/6 military items.
That comes to 240 toys in my playpen
Where do I keep all of this? On 264 feet of shelves in my hobby room, bedroom and living room.
