Default Build a Wood Q500 Fuselage
A slot was cut for the plywood inserts (1/64" thick) using a special tool. It consists of an Exacto blade between pieces of 1/8" thick plywood.

Inserts were shoved into the slot.

Some thin CA was used to glue the insert in place.
