The motor making a new noise is probably your biggest indication of what's wrong. You could have bad bearings, or the shaft could be bent, or maybe a magnet got knocked partially loose. If the problem is causing extra drag in the motor, you'll burn up your ESC soon too. Does the prop noise sound like it's a lower pitch than before? If so, you probably need a new motor.
