I had bought a 4-Star 40 a few years ago and the bearings went bad on the OS .52 4-c.
I got a rebuild kit from Noel (nubsdoesparts) on ebay and a ring from Baal (Franks protege)
I started taking the engine apart today and every freaking bolt has RED locktite!!!
I could only get one head bolt off. I guess im going to use heat.
I wonder if covering gun heat will be enough.
I've never used Locktite (blue or red) after a rebuild.
Just ranting i guess.
