If it wasn't for him, and for the passion for self improvement of a few modelers, this hobby would have never achieved the level it has now.
Besides, he is indirectly forcing the manufacturers to produce "Top Gun" quality products. And everybody benefits from that.
I honestly think that throwing the keyboard in the garbage could help a lot of people to boost their self esteem.
Again, my deepest admiration to Frank for what he has done for this hobby for so many years.

Yeah.. I realize my post came off as a bit negative.. I truly applaud Frank for what he's done for the hobby. I DO think Top Gun needs to evolve to keep up with the changing hobby climate. My comments come from what I remember Top Gun to be in its inception.. when guys like Charlie Chambers, Dave Platt, Tom Polapink, and others built the most amazing miniature creations of airplanes that you simply couldn't find flaw with.. Platt's OV-1 Mohawk.. Charlie's P-61 Black Widow.. Tom's Albatross. To me THOSE airplanes sparked interest in scale modeling like nothing before.. As I said.. it just feels a bit strange FOR ME, to see BVM PNP jets competing at Top Gun.
