Was looking at googlemaps yesterday. IF the thing is correct, it's about an hour to Lake Lanier's Vann's Tavern Park from Cobb Galleria Convention Centre and the adjoining Renaissance Waverly Hotel, the location we will be spending four or five days. Don't know how close you are to there, was just a good point to guestimate time and distance to, reference wise anyway.
