Finish a Sheeted Q500 Wing
Outside was relatively calm this morning and I used this opportunity to clear coat a couple more wings.
- I used a type that is for spot panels.
- It was mixed according to directions: 1 part hardener to 4 parts base
- About 25% reducer was added to the mix
- It was mixed and filtered when poring into the spray gun.
- A very light mist was applied initially and let to set about 10 minutes
- Several more light coat were applied until a light shiny surface was received
- The wings were set out of the way to dry
