Cut out the bottom section and enough room for the cylinder head to receive air. In addition, I also drilled holes in the cowl just rear of each exhaust pipe. Engine overheating is a problem with this model so in addition I also put a heat baffle between the muffler and the carburator. The holes behind each exhaust pipe can't been seen and it provides additional hot air escape route
