With modern stuff you don't really even want the slow back to battery position. I messed with some graupner speed 280's to replace the tamiya stock motor in the recoil unit to achieve this. Unfortunately the motors I used are no longer made but something like this may do it. Also here's a vid of the aftermarket motor compared to stock. The Panther has the aftermarket.
