RE: Lets have a look at your shed then
Hi, Late last year (Aug, 2002) I purchased a "Clear Span" building from a company named U.S. Buildings complete with optional skylite frosted panel and one turbin from Home Depot. It took about two months to lay down the foundation and finally erect the building. I used the help of my two son's in doing the grunt work. Like to a big erector set lots of nuts and bolts. But, it was finally completed by early November, I built the sides from Home depot "Sofit" 10' lenghts (about $200.00) worth. Building cost $1,200.00 plus skylight cost $350.00, turbin cost $31.50 shiiping and tax, special mount for turbin $175.00. Foundation costs Rebob rods, nuts/bolts, L-brackets, lumber for forms, concret about $800.00. All in all cost of foundation cost as must as the steel shed itself. By the way, the Shed is made of 22 Gauge steel (Quanson Hut style). Very strong if you build building as per the instructions, exactly. My building is 16' x 16'. Original setup was 12' x 16'. I have just about all of my planes hanging off the roof (20' high).
Take care.
