I have this radio and found it very easy to set up conditions, but also I had done it before on prior radios. There's really nothing in my mind about the setup that would be jet specific, and I'm not looking at my radio but off the top of my head I do the following for a typical model with retracting gear and flaps (no speed brake in my setup):

Condition 1 - gear down
Condition 2 - take off - set the "ON" logic to gear switch down and half flaps
Condition 3 - half flap - set the "ON" logic to gear switch up and half flaps
Condition 4 - cruise - set the "ON" logic to gear switch up and no flaps
Condition 5 - landing - set the "ON" logic to gear switch down and full flaps

I don't need an approach condition since it is the same as take off (gear down, half flaps). I also don't typically set up a full flap only condition since I don't fly around with full flaps and gear up, but you easily could add that. On models where I don't use any flap on take off (i.e. warbirds) I name that condition approach and I move it further down the list. Typically I set my conditions up in the order that I will use them during a flight. Just makes sense in my mind to do it that way.

Once I think I have them all set. I put the plane on a stand and power up the receiver and similulate a flight to ensure the conditions are selected on the transmitter like I planned, and that the airplane systems respond as expected. Then on first couple of flights, trim out each condition.

Hope this helps some.
