True about the relative sizes, but the two hulls are very different. To look like it should, the PT boat carries a lot more plastic on a taller hull. Superstrcture, armaments etc. An empty plastic model floats very near its waterline so when adding weight for radio, steering, battery, drive unit and so on everything has to be considered. On a race type boat, all of the topside detail is missed. Every gram counts. There might be a problem to be sorted finding a suitable flat bit under the boat for the inlet. A PT boat was a shallow V in that area.
On the other had, the drive might go very well in a PBR which was a waterjet drive in real life.
