Assuming that the Pepino Vega's design is similar to other Vega design that I've seen, the interior isn't scale, and leaves little room for fitting it out in a scale fashion.
On mine, I gave up on using a pilot figure, too. Speaking of which, I have a 1/6 Amelia Earhart figure that I may be persuaded to part with.
