I think you are right assuming the price is reasonable. I work in composites and while I have been hoping for some nice smaller models I also understand the reluctance. The truth is that that for the most part material is a small portion of the cost of an airplane. It may use half the material but it could very well take 90-95% the same labor as a 3 meter jet. In fact, we have found cases where smaller parts actually take longer because of working in tight spaces. The first reaction is to assume they can sell 3 times more to make up the profit margin but then you have 3 times the customer service, etc. Let's hope it is a huge success and will encourage others to get in the small jet business.
