Say Joe,
I told you the PJ was a weird looking machine. The last three airplanes I have built all have flat center section wings with raised tips. I guess it's a trend! I already own a set of the smaller version of the PJ plans. If you get started please keep me posted on the build. You might even get me fired up enough to build it. The construction sure is different than anything else I have scratch built in the last 40 years!
If you still have the article of the larger PJ G handy, see if you can figure out how the attachment of the tail works. I have read and re-read the description and I cannot figure it out. The drawing has two different diameter tubes at former F4B, which is not explained. How plastic tubing is supposed top act like a "nut" for the bolt glued to former 6B is not at all clear. I did not have time today to go to the hardware store and see what the tubing is like. I can't believe that plastic tubing is threaded and strong enough to act like the nut. I am hoping with your experience, you can figure it out.
Stay in touch,
Craig
