I actually have been emailing with Thayer Syme at Flying models about the removable tail on the big PJ. He agrees that it is too complicated. I just bought another OS 10 FP for my PJ - I have decided to build the little one first to get the hang of the building sequence and go from there with the larger one Right now, I'm trying to finish up my Dragonfly by the end of the week. I guess great minds do think alike as I am a fan of the Prairie Bird as well - just not as big as yours. I have the MB plan for "someday". I know what you mean about the noise of engines but I still like playing with them. Since my other hobby is music (trombone player) I always wear ear protection. Good luck with the kidney stone(s). Been there, done that - no fun at all!!
