Thanks for all the information! I was planning on doing something similar, and have a used a similar approach on other airplanes. I have a couple more questions, and hopefully I will stop bugging you
- What is the outside diameter of the carbon tube you used? And the inside diameter (or wall thickness)?
- What is the diameter of the G-10 horn at the tube? What thickness G-10 di you use? For the horn what was the reason for having it curve forward? Was that to keep the ball joint on the hinge line?
- Where did you buy the carbon rod? What type of tube is it (Roll Wrapped Carbon Fiber Tube, Braided Carbon Fiber Tube, Pultruded Carbon Fiber Tube)?
