1/2A Non-Contest Control Line Gathering

On Nov 19, 2017, we will be celebrating 1/2A control line with a mass gathering at Apollo Field in Van Nuys, CA. Many of us started flying 1/2A control line when we were kids and now it's time to celebrate 1/2A control line, and we're going BIG. Hoping to have more than 100 on display. We're encouraging pilots from around the country to bring all of your 1/2A control line models flying or static for a large group photo. We will be flying all day and sharing our passion for 1/2A. Myself and my buddy, Tony Nacarrato are planning to make this an annual gathering and possibly a two day event. The word is spreading around the Southwest and beyond.
