I may not succeed, but my old HP plotter is in teardown stage the parts will be used to build a simple cnc mill....laser cutter......or 3d printer. I don't know which way this will take me , but I am going anyway. here's pic's of the start I only hope to have a successful finish. The plotter, some mod's will be necessary but the stepping motors are gorillas............the keypad will probably be needed..........the last pic is of a product advertisement. it gave me the idea of the basic design.
I intend to keep this as uncomplicated as I can. the k.i.s.s. principal is key. ........................................whatcha think? OH YEA, the plotter is functional as it stands.
