Your p140 would fly the smaller extreme hawk. But nothing bigger.
Stating that the smaller SM Extreme Hawk needs a 140 sized motor is a fallacy.

I flew my SM Extreme Hawk with a Jetcat P80SE, and it was a wonderful combination. Very scale, and plenty of power for big, full-scale like aerobatics.

Never had any trouble with it performance wise. I put on 68 flights with that P80SE, before an air-bubble induced flame-out in a bad spot claimed its life.

I'm flying my 36lb DerJet Hunter (probably around 42lb fully fuelled) with a Merlin 140 (31lb thrust) - again a fantastic scale combination with more than enough power.

You don't need anything close to a 1:1 thrust/weight ratio for scale flying.

Now, if you want to be a hooligan, thrust is a must. I also have an Ultra Flash with a Merlin 140 in it - that fills my need for something over-powered
