You can use whatever you want. Each RCer's needs are different, and each RC's tolerance for torture is different
. A lightweight stadium truck with a good motor; on 3S, is gonna fly no matter what. A 3800Kv motor on 3S will be more manageable than a 4600Kv motor. How much room you have and the terrain will ultimately be the deciding factor.
