Shawn, glue the (ugly) hatch to the (ugly) plane with rubber cement. It holds really well, but can be removed easily when necessary. I use it to glue paper patterns to balsa to cut and sand, and to glue stacks of wing rib blanks to cut and sand to shape. When dried overnight it sticks really well, and a little heat it pops right off. A quick wipe with acetone or thinner will remove all residue.
