Early this morning conditions were perfect for a test flight so the Miss Wind finally had her turn. All she needed was one click of up trim and one click left rudder to track nicely in the verticals. I have the CoG at about 125mm and it feels right but inverted flight shows that I can move it back a bit more.

The motor is running well, really quiet and smooth but it needs more prop. The highest current draw was only 42A on the ground and in the air full throttle gave less than 40A. This was with a 16x8 APC prop. The motor can do 75A+ so I now have a 16x10 APC (had one in the workshop) on but it is still only drawing 53A on the ground (6S). I will fly it again like this but will get 16x12 and 17x10 props as soon as possible as recommended by OS.

I have also setup a throttle curve as the default did not feel right, it only started producing real power over 75% of stick movement and I am used to flying my other planes at about 50% for level flight, not 75%.

The plane flies really well and feels solid in the air with the rudder nice and powerful, only a small amount of rudder is needed for knife edge flight. I can see that it will allow a slightly slower flying style and I think I am going to like that!
