Looking for some insight on the HPI Savage X 4.6 or the Baja 5t's.

So, looking for speed and light light bashing. I want to have it kicking right out the box, but will be doing upgrades to get in high speed (65+) range once I develop the knowledge and wealth. So, what would you guys go with?

Not sure if I want to deal with finding locations for 5th scale, so was looking a bit more into 1/8.
