I picked up a couple of QX2/3 drones ar a garage sale. One of them crashed hard and busted the body at one of the motors. I swapped the body with one of the included spare frames, but I can’t get it to initialize. It beeps calling for an accelerometer problem. It looks like the motherboard is done. Being that I don’t want to spend $125 for a replacement, I’m thinking on installing an old KK board I had laying around. Any other ideas? It would be nice if I could add GPS, compass.

The other one, had an ESC problem, and it was due to a cut wire. I fixed it and it gets past ESC, accelerometer, GPS, but it looks like it’s hanging up in compass. Not 100%, but it has one single beep, long between times, and two orange lights. If I knew for sure a new compass board would fix it, I would get one.

I also got got an extra GPS v3 unit that just needs copper wrap. Oh, and a set of carbon fiber blades.
