Time to build some wings!

Photos 1-2 I always thought that the stock distance between the ribs was too far apart, so I reworked the plans and spaced the ribs 3 inches on center. The red pen lines show their new locations. Their are a total of 11 ribs per wing panel, make note that I will be shortening the wing length.

Photos 3-5 Test fitting the first five ribs on the right wing to see how well the wing tube will fit. I am very happy that everything lines up perfectly! If my measurements are correct I will end up with 1/2" dihedral for each wing panel. Note that ribs 1 & 2 are cut from 1/8" lite ply.

Photo 6 Now that I know that the wing tube locations are correct, I marked the locations for the wing tube on left wing panel ribs. I want to make sure I register each of the ribs in the same location, so I reused the dowel hole that I drilled before to line all of the ribs up when I sanded them as one.
