Lipos as are dangerous as nitro fuel , a gas can and a eletrical board that can easily spark when incerting a plug.
You charge lipos under total supervision, you simply learn to multitask if you don't have the patience to sit and watch and charge and also charge at the field. If you crash a plane you need to examine the battery if it has puffed or has any signs of duress then you need to dispose of the battery, that is life with electric power.
Lipo fires are real and so is the danger of anything that is not taken seriously.
i had a LiPo bulge and burn up. I only charge them on the concrete in the garage around nothing :-)
