Ignoring the trimmed away areas, the canopy is a little over 9 " long, 3" tall, and about 2 1/2" wide best I can tell.
I would be willing to bet the 8" Mustang canopy would fit perfect and not be quite as tall as the original . Get away from that bulbous look.
