I think I'm sitting on a gold mine too! I'm still flying some of my Top Flite beach wood props. 6% moisture content is optimum,and will remain mostly unchanged for "finished" props. Unfinished props might loose some strength if the moisture gets lower, or higher. So unless you live in Antarctica, or cook your props in the oven, they should be just fine.
