Sorry to reply on someone else's thing but I don't know how to start a new one. I'm having an issue with my Rustler XL5, seen the same issues but no answers or 'fixes'. I can turn everything on and only steering works. I used a volt meter to the receiver port for the throttle and am only getting about 6 volts when I pull the trigger...I'm dumb when it comes to electricity but that seems to mean it's not getting enough power. The battery is fully charged, theres over 9v from the ESC and I dont get any resistance from the motor (seen that on a youtube video that its a good sign). I'm just trying to get some info before I purchase a new receiver or if theres a simple fix. The rustler sat for a about 6months before using it and this was what ended up happening.
