my first plane, circa 1979. flew it alot - let my friend fly it - real pilot in training, and got it in a spin - I took over, and almost saved it. wings flew off, and I ended up mating those wings with a goldberg falcon. called it a fa- ket. 3 channel, no ailerons. but, what a great way to learn to fly. taught me to build, cover, and work with weight. I even had foam wings - forget how I got those - I think they were optional through tower hobbies or something.
