I agree with you guys regarding the AMA in general and the EC in particular, but the OP's issue should be in the forefront.

Sorry. I agree that he should not have been greeted that way. I know AMA can't dictate that people be nice, but they sure have an interest in making sure this doesn't happen. Driving away potential members is something the AMA can ill afford.
