I have used and will continue to use "MATO" Products BUT they are always my last choice because of my experience of finding lower quality and while it is creditable that they do not copy other makers it does cause problems trying to get a good fit when trying to get a Mato part to meld with a Taigen or Heng Long part
.For instance Mato's rear plate for the Tiger 1 can be made to fit in the hull of the Heng Long and the Taigen Tiger 1 but the amount of work needed is extensive and the only reason I did it was because the Plastic Locating tabs on the Taigen and Heng Long rear plates shear with not much effort whereas the Mato plate is metal.
