Hi Ken. I like the idea of NACA inlets I think they were designed as efficient low drag intakes but I am OK with drag on this airframe. I had several reasons for doing it this way. Obviously a crankcase cooling intake so as far forward as possible. But also to add area up the front above the center line and to soften the rather steep slope up to the canopy.
