I hate the nylon tanks on Snipes and Herons, the feed pipe sticks out the side and is most inconvenient when mounting the engine. The early anodised alloy tanks were much nicer. Cost cutting I guess.
I picked up a used set of silencers for my best Snipe. They are original, but are 'fabricated' from brazed brass, different to the silencers supplied with the later engines shown in the photo's above. I'll post a photo at some stage.
