1/6 Scale L-39 Great Buy
This is a Jet Legend 1/6 scale airplane that is a composite of two different L-39's as can be seen by the different wings. I bought this plane as a project rebuild. Here is what is needed to get it flyable again:
1) The fuselage is sound, only minor cosmetic repairs that can be made or ignored,
2) The camo wing has two areas on the top where there may be a broken internal rib, easily repairable but flyable as is,
30 The vertical stab will need to be sheeted over the pink foam and then glassed, again not a big project,
4) The cockpit plexiglass needs replacement,
5) The right wingtip tank has been damaged and has been partially repaired/sanded, not a biggie,
60 Missing are fuel tanks, pipe, landing gear and cockpit.
The buyer of this airplane will have an easily repairable plane of 1/6 size for under a $1,000. This is a project that can be very rewarding for the right builder.
