I just received a reply, here's what they say:
"I am sorry to hear this, it does appear that it was courier damaged it on its way to you. I can look into sourcing the damaged parts for you, if this request is approved and if the parts can be sourced, would you be able to fit the replacement parts yourself? If not, would you prefer to return the tank to us?"

I'm not really sure what to do. I've never build any models, or replaced or added things to any rc vehicles, so not sure if I can fix it myself.
If I return it to them, and they fix it, it could be damaged once again during transport, then I'd be back to square one. The ideal solution would be, they let me keep this tank, and send me a new one that doesn't get damaged on it's way
No matter what I choose, I'm still stuck with a tank I cannot use, at least for a while.
Just a friendly suggestion but NO toy of any level or expense is maintenance free so you HAVE to expect some type or work on it eventually. Batteries, gears, wiring... especially if it's a moving toy it will need repair later.

NONE of us here were born with the knowledge or skills to work on or build models... we took interest and just figured it out.

We're all here to help if you need it and maybe there is someone close by that can repair it for you. Repairing broken parts are not difficult as I'm sure you don't live in a throw away world... you must have had to patch something up along the way in your life.

Send it back but shipping is a double edge sword and things might happen... it's inevitable my friend.
