Was the RC fresh outta the box, or has the RC been ran awhile? If the RC is new, the first thing to do is, get ahold of the manufacturer. DOA items do occur from time to time. They shouldn't, but sometimes shipping endeavors will wiggle a solder joint loose or something like that.
