If you make your own extensions, Hansen Hobbies has latching polarized connecters (same as Ashlock I believe) in multiple pin configurations. I used 2 on my Joker: an 8 pin for gear/brakes and a 12 pin for Aileron/Flaps, 1 to 1 pins for everything and no chance of plugging connectors in wrong (right and left wings).
