Make sure the gap on the tappets is for the highest cam due to the not perfect concentricity of the cam ring. Also I have settled on 10% oil in my fuel. Oil those valve stems!
Hello hello Maxim good to hear from you, thanks for the info on the high cam point, well my 9 cylinder was turning a 26 x 10 2 blade at 4950 RPMs, after adjusting all the valves clearances I just put on a 25 by 10 3 blade propeller on my Corsair, it is now turning tween 42 and 4300 RPM seems to run well on my trailer have not test flown it with that prop yet though, hopefully this week I will try it, also I religiously use Marvel Mystery Oil to lubricate my rockers
