Any gun powder, black powder particularly and aluminum is not a good combination. Quite corrosive.
If you've ever fired black powder arms you know what I mean. Partly the reason why upon firing black powder
loaded cartridges the recommendation is to immediately throw the cases in water. And it isn't to soften powder residue...
And in California with it's paranoia of anything remotely gun_like I really wouldn't recommend it at all.
