Default RE: I got my hands on one...

Beware on your RCS 1.40 of the spark plug boot being loose. Mine went on with a click, there was a little movement but seemed ok. I lost two beautiful planes because of this thing. I used PCM RX's and range checked, these apparently mask the problem until the plane vibrates at the right frequency and then they went into fail safe. Down they came. I noticed when range checking the controls surfaces get sluggish as you move away from the plane instead of going right into fail safe. It's only when you get to the limit of your range does it actually fail safe.

As a fix, I saw here on RCU to put a hose clamp on the boot and tighten until it's snug with no movement. My range checks are with FM dual conversion RX's now, with the engine on are at 150' now with no glitches. This also applies to the RCS 1.80. Just don't want to see your hard work heading to the local land fill.
