I am hugely impressed by this Anton, hearty congratlations.

To to help in your development and test flying may I suggest you read John Farley’s brilliant book, “ A View from the Hover” .

John was the BA e chief test pilot on the Harrier ( after Bill Bedford did the first flights, and Duncan Simpson who was very helpful to me on Hawk issues) and in the book he describes in detail many problems, solutions and techniques for VTOL, particularly issues of control and stability both in the hover and partial jet and wing borne flight. In the end he made it seem very simple IF the right techniques are used and the traps are understood.

Good read, too, too for anyone interested in test flying or just improving their general full-size flying skills, particularly for recreational pilots.
