The "cultural differences" is an internal joke between Sandor an me, we have some very interesting emails between a Chinese manufacturer of boards and their interpretation of "right angle connectors". Basically they mounted straight connectors in a prototype board and sent us a picture of it. We replied that the BOM files/specification said the connector should be "right angle", their answer was that in china, "right angle" means straight and the problem (they did not admit it was a fault of theirs) was "due to cultural differences". Go figure....
