Nope, no weird expo at all, in fact the throttle is set up for quite a linear response. I just built the airplane light. It comes in under 4.5lbs and does everything that I want it to do. My only beef with the Laser3D is that its not as precise with its 3D work as I would like it to be but anybody should be able to draw that from looking at the design. The airplane will do every 3D move in the book with the right person at the controls. Some stuff it does better and cleaner than others but I have by no means outgrown it yet
