It has been doing a decent job of blocking the fabric weave print through, although letting it set to the 'green' stage may improve the end-result even more.

it was an all composite 1/4 TA152. I had similar problems with the surface details staying consistent (i used actual screws for the screw details) at first. After leaving the 3/4oz layer to go green, i never suffered from lost details any longer. You do have to leave the fabric slightly resin rich, but the technique works Really well.
