I finished the Gee Bee this weekend. I had to add 10oz of weight to the Cowl to get the CG right at 6 5/8". The JC EVO 60 twin started right up and is giving me 6850RPM and a good 1600RPM idle.on a VV 22X10 prop. I have taxied the plane around the field for a bit and the ground handling is very good. I built a stand out of 3/4" PVC pipe to help me assemble the plane at the field. I hope to do the maiden next Saturday. I will try and get some video for your all.
