Yea SLA is the way to go for the high detail stuff. The new LCD printers are pretty nice too but I can't have resin in my house with my dog. He sheds constantly, I would just be digging hairs out of my resin every time I messed with it. I also have a little dog that will lick anything so I'm hesitant to try resin.
