Thanks for the info, I will try a couple different layups soon. One of my goals was to make the layup as cost effective as possible as I may end up producing some kits. I think my strength with the original layup is a bit overkill still, I do really like the idea of two layers of 1.4 at bias, balsa and the the 3.6 as a layup. That and I found the the formers being made from a CF laminate is way overkill, the next one will have them done in a glass laminate.
