Other than how well and easy it flies, the Cougar is stupid easy to operate. Travels on its wheels, so no need for a cradle or anythng fancy on your vehicle. Only one cable per wing to connect, and one screw per wing. I can get it ready to fly while fueling (and I'm done before it is full). Even checking the retracts is easy, just pick it up by the nose while it rests on the skid bump at the tail
Also, agree that the cockpit is a PITA, but, you almost never have to remove it, most work can be done through the gear doors (huge hole)
Two thing where the cougar sucks and the hawk truly excels are: Knife edge and ground handling. The cougar does not hold a knife edge (enough for perfect point rolls) and it is a handful on cross wind ground handling
If you just want a great flier that is super easy to operate, the cougar is your ticket...
I do love the T33 though...
